Issue with mirroring a link Revit file

I have an apartment project where each unit type is it's own Revit file. The unit types are linked into a main building Revit file. Each linked unit file is mirrored or rotated to it's correct position in the building. Nothing new in this setup.

What I am attempting to accomplish is to have top and bottom plate profile sweeps in the wall. Each profile that is inserted as a sweep has a detail item of the section plate cut. This was working great until linked Revit files are mirrored in the main Revit file. When the linked Revit file is mirror the profile sweep is correct, but the detail item in the profile flips out of the wall. See attached pdf for a noted pic of the issue described above.

Does anyone know why this is happening or can help me resolve this?

Thanks

Does look like a bug.

I have a workaround.  It is quite convoluted if it was me I would most likely remove the nested detail component from the profile family, and insert it manually where required in the detail views.

Anyways, the work around:

Just following up on ToanDN's great work-a-round. I checked internally and development is aware of this limitation. It will require a code change to address and in the meantime the above or creating a face or wall based family to use it instead of the wall sweeps seem to be the best options. Hopefully this will be address in the not to distance future. Sorry for any inconvenience this is causing and thanks for posting.

In the current Revit update, 2017.2. the notes for the update state: "Improves stability when mirroring a project."  Was this update here to fix this issue? I don't see the issue resolved with this latest update. Your response is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
