Issue with editted profile face connecting to corner of other wall

Hi again

Currently working on the biggest project I have had to create in Revit during my placement year. A very tall and large block of flats which the front face has a lot of changes in height so have made that piece by editing the walls profile.

The issue comes when now I need to do some work on the business units down stairs which due to an error message which says you cant keep the wall and another wall joined. I adjust this wall or the message appears. If I try moving the other wall it also says the error. Also cant change the wall type as it will also explode. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks again

Sounds like a Joined Conditions are throwing errors.  Have you expanded (<<Expand>>) the Warning to investigate what Elements are being affected?

You may have Hidden Constraints (e.g. Elements that are aligned and locked, or dimensioned and locked). Reveal Hidden Constraints to find them.

Hi again

Seem to have fixed this one. Thanks for the lesson in reveal constraints. Had no clue that button existed so kudos to you. Fixed it by resetting profile and then redoing that profile face making modifications to how I made it as to make a more efficient model. Works much better now.

How do I close this post as don't want people going to the trouble of clicking if its already answered?
