Issue loading edited family into project

Please see attached snippet. I tried to edit a light fixture family and load it into the project. The error message says "An incompatible version of family "xxx" is already in use in this project. Cannot load!" 

"the family could not be loaded into xxx resolve issues in the family and reload if needed"

I have no idea what caused this problem. I really appreciate it if someone could help me resolve this issue.

I found that happened to me when I used shared families. Is that a setting that you have changed while editing the family?

try to share your family here and what version of revit you are using so we can check. thanks

Thanks for the reply. I have attached the family and I am using Revit 2019.2.

Not sure this has been properly answered, but it is because the name of the family you are bringing into Revit is the same as a family that you've already loaded in.

It's as simple as when you go to 'insert' the family, rename the filename of the 'family' you are bringing into Revit so it's different to the family already loaded in.
