is there a quick way to rename grids?

I'm looking for a quick way to rename a number of grids to avoid having to manually re-name them, similar to auto-number in autocad.

I found an app but it hasn't been updated since Revit 2019 and I am on Revit 2023.

I would recommend pyRevit. it has a renumbering feature and a lot more besides.

Thanks everyone! I will try out pyrevit! Thanks for including screenshots on where to find it once i get it installed!

Maybe someday Revit will implement renaming grids into the program itself 🙂
