I am being told yes by some and no by others (Dell & one of the support team members thru autodesk). I was told the Quadro RTX will work but risky or may not work with GeForce RTX.
I am not computer/hardware savvy. I am looking to purchase several Alienware machines for our drafting team. Our Dell rep is recommending the Precision machines however the team picked out the Alienware saying it has a higher end/better graphics card and would be an overall better machine. Getting ready to order and was told that the graphics card is not certified for CAD and something about the drivers. I looked on the list and I am only really seeing mainly AMD & Quadro. Thoughts? Experience? The machine is the Alienware m15 R7, Intel i7 24MB, 64GB DDR5 4800mhz, 1TB HD, and the NVIDIA(R) GeForce RTX(TM) 3070 Ti 8GB GDDR6 graphics. Thanks!
