Is it possible to make Revit add on that modifies GUI?

I want to make an addon that simply highlights selected elements with a red gradient outline. Sometimes in a very big project i have to find small parts and when I use [Select all] , I ca't see the parts on my screen because they are too small.

I have attached screenshot of what I would want in my final plug in.

I can't think of a way to do what you're trying to do.  I get round your problem by typing HI after SA to isolate the selected elements so that I can see where they are.
