Is it possible to disable the Synchronize Now button?

In continuation of a previous post - is it possible to disable the Synchronize Now button in our build of Revit 2018?

This and other practices at the office should be established  by the BIM manager, in training sessions, and documentation of best practices.

We cannot be removing buttons from the program to avoid problems. That would be like removing all knifes from the kitchen because they can be dangerous. 🙂

@Sahay_R: I'm curious to know why you'd like to "remove the knives from the kitchen". What's accomplished by disabling Synchronize Now button? .

@barthbradley - A lot of people using the SyncNow button, possibly causing problems with the model.

Sync Now is not even the default action for the button.  They need to click on the little arrow to access it.  Are you sure it is the cause?

Eliminating all possible causes, @ToanDN. And yes, there are people who WILL click to get to SyncNow. Go figure.

So, it not really analogous to removing all the knives from the kitchen; it more about "child-proofing" the drawers. he, he.
