Is increasing Storage and processor expedite the loading families?

Hi All. 

I wonder if increasing Storage and Processor can significantly expedite when loading families (with lots of formulas, nested families, and voids).

I am already working on a pretty strong desktop computer ( I can still make it much stronger) but still face a loooooong processing time (sometimes more than 6 7 hours) when I edited my family and reload them in the project. I am using usually more than 500 instances of my host family in the project.

What are your current desktop configurations?

Have you checked the system requirements and recommendations from Autodesk website?

My system configuration is way beyond the Revit requirement. However, it can still be much stronger.
