Invisible Detail Callouts when referencing a drafting view

Does anyone know why a detail marker in a floor plan will show the callout tag if its referencing anything other than a Drafting View?   If I reference a drafting view the callout tag disappears but will still cycle through the flag options at the ends of the section line.

Stumped.

I'm kind of lost. You are talking about a call-out to a Drafting View in Floor Plan -- not a call-out to a Model View; right?

...are you sure this has nothing to do with your View's Crop? Turn it off and see if that changes the behavior you are seeing.

Yes.  A callout in a model view (plan) referencing a drafting view.

if it isn't Crop related, I'm not sure what you are describing. Can you post a picture?

Correction.  Its the section view not the callout that is weird.  Left (highlighted light blue) is the section marker referencing a drafting view that is missing its detail designation.  The callout tag on the right appears to be fine.  (6/A5.8) is the detail designation I want the section marker to show.Capture1.PNG

Do you have a scope box assigned to the view?

Check the drafting view type and make sure the Callout Tag use something that has the marker.

Check the "Hide At Scale Courser Than" setting for the one that's hidden.

No scope box is in use for the plan.

All drafting views have the hidden detail information problem.

I wasn't asking about scope box.

Hidden?  What do you mean?  Did you add any?

...Drafting Views are not snapshots of your model.

Its shown in my uploaded photo.  All I can find in the forums about "Display coarser than..." is that its very hard to find but noone really says where to find it.  I guess i'll just have to draw the detail tag and and chase it if it moves on the sheets.  It shouldnt have to be this hard.

Forget "Hide at Scales Courser Than". It was an educated guess. I just ruled it out.

Can you open a drafting view, click on Edit Type from the top of the Properties, and post a screenshot of it?

Hi there, I'm having the same issues as described by the OP and was wondering if anyone has a fix for it. I have a elevation callout on which I'm trying to place reference sections on to reference to drafting views. While I've gotten the reference section tail to show up, the head with the sheet number and drawing number still doesn't show up. Additionally, I'm only able to create vertical reference sections and I would like to be able to also place horizontal reference sections that reference the plan detail drafting views. Any thoughts or suggestions?
