Invisibility of Generic annotations once through several nested families

I have created a Generic Annotation (the black square) that was then nested in a Lighting Fixture Family, which was then once again nested in another. But when the final family was loaded into the project, the First generic annotation is not visible. It was however visible in both the families it was nested in. How do I make the Annotation family visible?Capture1.JPGCapture2.JPGCapture3.JPGCapture4.JPG

hmmm...  maybe because a nested annotation will be visible in the view it's placed in, since the lighting fixture is probably hosted to a ceiling ie. it might be impossible to show it on a different plane. I think that might be happening here, but i'm not sure, so if you could post the family to replicate the situation...  but could be that you've just unchecked certain visibility settings to show or for detail level ie.

Hi martijn.pater

I believe its not the visibility settings as I,ve already checked it. Also its not a host based family either. I shall attach the several families below for your reference. Hope there is a solution to this.

Try using a detail item family instead of generic annotation.
