Hi,

I am having massive problems downloading the datasets for this course. It says that the file name/ path is too long. The error message is 'Error 0x80010135: Path too long'.

It doesn't matter what I seem to do. So I was wondering if anyone had had this issue and what they had done to resolve it. It shouldn't be this difficult to download resources. Please help.

Save it to another folder with a shorter name and not too deep into many levels of subfolder.

Hi,
I have tried this, but the names of the files within are too long. I can
only change the parent fund name.

Any other suggestions? Do you no sent unzipping software that might help?
Or a way to modify the names of the files within?

Use 7-zip to unpack, then shorten all folder name.

You can try using LongPathTool to resolve the issue. It helps manage files with long file paths that exceed Windows' character limits, making it easier to extract or move files without errors.
