Intersection of non-orthogonal beams

Hi All,

I can't "join/intersect" the two concrete beams shown in the image below, which are non-orthogonal and have different sections and an offset level.

Any suggestions to solve this issue ?

Thanks.

Cut the Beam back to a Ref. Plane in Section View. You may first need edit the Family and change its Model Behavior, such as to "Precast".

I changed the beams' model behavior to precast and cut them back to the reference planes, but when I delete the reference planes, the beams revert to their initial shapes as shown below!

Is there another approch without changing beam's Model behavior and using reference planes for cutting?

Thanks.

Why would you delete the Ref. Plane?  Just leave it alone. If you what to better manage the Project, name the Ref. Plane and/or change it to a Subcategory indicating its usage/purpose.
