Insulation Lines in Detail Component

Does anyone have any workarounds for having insulation details lines in a detail component? Trying to make a component with a insulation visibility toggle but can't seem to make an insulation line. Thanks.

Have you tried going to Annotate > Insulation?

Insulation tool only works in the project environment. Just create your detail families without it and draw the insulation over in views. Unless you want go through the hassle of creating a parametric insulation detail family and nest it in your detail families.

That's what we currently do. I was trying to streamline my project template this morning and had hoped to cut out that step. Oh well, thanks for the conformation.
