Installation Revit 2016 on a computer without internet connetion

Hi~

Here is the case.

I have installed Revit 2016 on my desktop which is on win10 and I wanted to install the same copy of Revit

on the other desktop without Internet connection, which has win7.

I installed successfully but it expired after 30days(on the second PC).

So, I typed in activation code(13 codes) on the expried Revit but I got an error.(0015.111)

This error is related to corrupted license file and etc.

Then I followed How to force re-activation steps but eventually it didn't work.

I have got the same error massage again and again.

Any help?

Thanks

Hi @Anonymous,

you cannot use two copy of Revit with one license 😃

Even if the computer has no internet connection. To activate the license you need to go online.

My license type is Education stand alone, installed

up to 2 personal devices.

I think it is possible, isn't it?

Hi @Anonymous,

oh yeah, I wasn't thinking about educational license, my apologies.

Here is what you get:

Authorized Usage: Install on up to 2 personal devices*

* Your Autodesk Account may display this usage right as 1 seat.

During installation, enter this product key and serial number. The first time you start the product, you will be prompted to activate your license. This date marks the start of your three-year term.

But you need to be connected to internet on the first activation.
