Inconsistent void behavior on variable wall

I created a variable concrete wall that has a void profile, sort of creating an L shape.

The void is interacting with other walls though, which is not desired. See below:

Other side of that wall appears correctly:

Same condition on the other side of the opening appears fine though:

Does anybody know how to control the void behavior?

Thank you

Charlie

  • Use Wall Joins tool and change the type of join.
  • If that doesn't work, then do the join manually.
    1. select the offending walls,
    2. right click the End Grip (a bid blue point) and disallow join
    3. drag/align both walls
    4. Use Join Geometry (switch join order if required)

Alternatives you could use instead of voids/reveals in the wall structure,

  • Use unlocked wall layers
  • Use Wall: Reveals
