In Place Mass: Roof

Hi,

I'm having trouble modelling a roof. On top of the building is a large organic shape which is a glass system but it needs to be slightly rounded for drainage reasons, which I can't seem to figure out how to create. When I create an in-place-mass, it doesn't allow me to then create a roof from that face. I think it's because the shape is too strange. I'm able to create it flat but as soon as I add any height to the shape, it refuses to work. Is someone able to help me? I'm just after an ever-so-slight curve ! Pictures attached.

Thanks in advance,
Fin 🙂

You can try Generic Model.

Is the "Glass" the roof you are talking about?  Created by applying a Curtain Wall System to a Mass Face?  If so, I can see how that wouldn't work too well.  I'd suggest dividing the Mass surface and applying a Pattern-Based Curtain Panel Family instead. It'll look prettier too.
