In-place mass roof is not converting my mesh into a roof

I have some issues. My custom In-Place mass shape is not converting into a roof, now it's only a mesh above the waffle slab that I have created. can anybody help me to solve the problem? or teach me another way to create this roof?

ps: I tried to convert it into a wall but it's not working as well.

In-Place Mass doesn't convert Mass to Roof.  You model the Roof (by Face) on the Surfaces of the Mass.

Site & Massing tab=>Roof by Face

...Finish and close out of In-Place Massing, ignore warning and use the Roof by Face tool to create a roof on each surface of the Mass.

hello thanks for replying

I guess didn't explain my problem well, I did follow the link you've posted and I've already done those steps to create my roof (roof by face)

the problem is that when I reach this step

  1. Move the cursor to highlight a face.

it's not highlighted, which means I can't select the best to create my roof

but when I choose a model by face - model by wall, I can highlight the roof but again I get an error.

the only thing I can do is model by face - curtain system which is something I don't want to do

If Roof by Face doesn't work, then use Wall by Face.

...you can use a Wall Type that has the same assembly as the Roof Type.

Yeah; it's a booger. I can get there by adding Edges and Profiles to subdivide the Mass.

Like I said: I can get there (almost) if I subdivide the Mass using Add Edge and Add Profile.

I just used the Add Edge tool to add a bunch of edges to your form and then staggered placement of Wall by Face and Roof by Face.

Blue = Wall. Pink = Roof.
