.rvt files won't open by clicking on them

Since I upgraded to Revit 2022 I don't seem to be able to open my Revit files by simply clicking on them. I get "You'll need a new app to open this .rvt file". Instead I have to open Revit 2022 first, and open the files from there. Is there a way to change that?

Thanks.

Hi,

Have you tried this?

Right Click on the file icon > Properties > Open With > Change > and select the desired version.

It's usually a good idea to open files from within Revit since projects are version specific.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Thanks, but when I right click on the file and go to "open with...", it
tells me to "look for an app in the Microsoft Store". It's as if it doesn't
recognize I have Revit Lt 2022 installed.

Thank you @mariano_biagioli , at first it didn't work....but ultimately it did!
