Improving Computer Performance with Multiple Revit Links

I have received a Revit hotel project from an architect that has several links and I am having trouble with computer performance while hosting the links on Docs. The architect sends me several bathroom types, several room types, an overall guestroom unit file and an overall building file which I then load into my own model. I've saved each link as a workshare file on Autodesk docs so that I can remotely work on the project with my team but the lag time between commands once I'm working in my own file is frustrating and something I have not experienced with other projects that do not have links. Is there a way to improve performance with multiple links on Docs? Or another way to set up the project without all the links and retain the worksharing capabilities with my own team?

open the links apart and work on a file or unload the links that you have not needs or Improve your computer Hardware.

assign them in workset each link file, then you can off/on to work on and see if helps?

You could try combining all the links from the architect into one model but that may make updates difficult. More information about the project environment might be helpful.

Yes, it's probably easy to do but working with everything in a single file without links is definitely not recommended and would probably have it's own performance issues.
