Importing sheets from another file, sheets missing

I am copying sheets from another project into my current project.  I went to the insert tab, selected "Insert from file", then selected the previous project file I am copying from.  When I select the sheets only option, it is not loading all the sheets from that project.  (For example, it will show sheet A2.1, but not A2.  It shows A3, but not A1.)

Can someone explain why not all the sheets are appearing in the checkbox for import?

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

I don't understand the reply?  I have the same issue where I have received a set of revit files and I have rejoined the files via manage links but now I want to load the sheets from the other files but it is only load a handful of the sheets and not the ones I want.  How do I get it to load them all?

Only sheets with drafting views and schedules can be imported.

I am trying to do the same thing within the same project, but from the Architectural model into the mechanical model.  It does the same thing - I can only import sheets without a view or without a legend.

So, AutoDesk, let me get this straight, the architect creates a model and creates various sheets.  Then, if the mechanical engineer wants to use the same setup (to keep the drawing set uniform) he has to go thru and do the same thing the architect just did AGAIN?  This seems like a huge waste of time.

We have a project that has an overall plan and 5 enlarged plans.  I would like to copy the architect's same sheets into my model so the sheets match, but it cannot be done.  Correct?

2023 and still not being able to import sheets with model views is ridiculous.

Open the file you are trying to import in the same instance of revit of the file you are trying to import to. Then you can copy and paste anything you want.
