Importing DWGs to Revit. "Nothing Detected in Model Space"

Hi All,

I am trying to import a DWG to a Drafting View in Revit however it keeps saying that there is nothing detected in the model space. I opened the file in Autocad and there is definitely content in the Model Space. I moved the origin closer to the details in Autocad, but revit still cannot detect anything.

What is going on?

Thanks in advance.

Are you importing it in a View placed on Sheet?  Try open the View directly and import it.

And while we are at it, Linking is better than Importing.

are you importing it directly into the Drafting View, and with Current View Only selected?

Nope, its not placed on a Sheet. Its a newly created drafting view.

I also tried linking it. No luck :/.

Yes I am, directly importing/linking it into the drafting view. "Current view only" is grayed out.

hello, try to check your ddunits of your autocad file, if it is unitless change to the the units you are using, then move all the drawings to 0,0. Now try to link cad and see if helps. Thankd

Hi, was this issue resolved? I'm having the same issue and none of these suggestions have worked. Any other solutions?

Hi @jmitchellPVLTD

Can you share the dwg here? Did the recommendation above by @ToanDN  help?
