Importing CAD topography to Revit problems

I am  having problems importing CAD file site survey from surveyor to revit. When I import it is splitting into for little squiggle lines. Looks to me like a scale problem. I am importing in metres to 1/500 site.

How far away from the internal origin does it insert?  I'll bet it is far, far away. Revit has a limit. 10 miles.

Post the DWG.

The DWG inserts far away from the Internal Origin of the Project.  You need to move it closer to the IO. Insert it into a 3D with the Internal Origin Visible in the View, and then select it, Unpin it, and move it to the Internal Origin.

TIP: Set the Import Units yourself. Do not use Auto-Detect.

NOTE: your DWG is not to scale.  You will need to scale it in Revit, once you move it close to the Internal Origin.

One more thing I'll mention since you are new to Revit...Everything in Revit Model Views are 1:1 scale.

View Scale affects Annotation size in the View, and the size of the overall View on the Sheet.
