Imported DWG dimensions do not match in Revit

Hello,

Still new in Revit.

I imported this AutoCAD file. Wall's thickness is 250mm.

This is the import dialogue in Revit 2022

 The result shows 4mm deficit:

I know 4mm is not that huge, and I can totally ignore it for the walls, but in other areas in the plan I MUST have the dimensions precise, and I really don't wish to keep taking dimensions and just trace the DWG file.

Could someone please explain why the walls do not measure the same? Am I missing something?

I wouldn't trust the dimensions shown in the DWG 100%. Open the DWG and measure the wall thickness see if it is 250 or 254 mm.

Thanks a lot. I drew a line between the wall's faces in AutoCAD. The Geometry data shows 254mm as measured in Revit, while the Linear dimension is 250mm!

Any idea why? My AutoCAD knowledge is primitive.

The true distance is 254 mm.  The dimension shows 250 because the dimension style has the value rounded up or down to 10 mm.

So there is nothing for you to be worried about, carry on with tracing the DWG in Revit.

Mate, you're a legend!

This is the Dimension Style settings in AutoCAD. The Round Off was indeed set to 10.

Changing it to 1, updated the dimensions automatically - without the need to retake them:

Now I'll check on this each time I start on a model.

Thanks a million.
