Imported CAD object not visible in exported ifc

I use the ifc export option to only export only elements visible in a view. All the imported CAD objects are visible in the view, but they are not visible in the ifc-file. How can I export the ifc so that the imported CAD objects are visible in the produced ifc-file?

hi, the cad object are in 3D or in 2D?

They are 3d objects.

Create an in-place family under a category that is export-able, link or import the CAD model in, finish the family, then export to IFC.
