Import shared parameter as Project parameters

I have a titleblock with a shared parameter list and want to import them in a project as project parameters. The way i'm used to do it one by one. Is there a way to do this all in one? I have over 30 parameters to import.

greetings,

Jens

Hi

In previous versions of revit there was no provision of creating Global parameters and there was

no way to connect custom parameters of SHEET to connect to PROJECT parameter..

thats when Shared parameters helped to achieve that...

There might be some parameters which are costume and not available in the project which still require

shared parameter to make it work...

am afraid theres no way to convert all the shared parameters in project parameters in one go..

just do it one by one, and it will be worth spending that time for future project..

Best luck..

Just curious: Why? Not Why batch import, but how are you going to use these 30 Titleblock SPs in PPs?  Again; just curious.

We have to make 30 plans now and the amount will probably grow. The titleblock with shared parameters was made by ingeneers on an other project but with the same file-coding system. So we have a lot in common but not the exact naming and number for the titleblock.

It's a bit complicated to explain and probably even more to understand.

But as @Corsten.Au explained, do it once manualy and it will be fine. I had contact with some colleagues and they told me to do the same.

Sometimes we need to do it the oldschool way.

Thanks for quick reply.

Nothing OOTB....but CTC's BIM Manager Suite has a Shared Parameter Manager.
