Import problems with DWG Context file

I'm importing a DWG Context file into Revit

The import works fine, however the model displays with no lines in "consistent colors" and a lot of the faces are transparent. (Presumably normals are the facing the wrong way on the surfaces?)

I would like ideally to bring the file into a family and explode to get the most control over the display options. But most of the model is deleted after the explode.

Is there a way to fix either of these 2 problems so that i can have a context model that matches the graphic display of the rest of my model.
