What about if you want later to show this CAD link in another existing view?

If you tick that box when link or import DWG, the DWG comes in as Detail lines (hence Visible in this view only). If you want to show it in another view already exists, then copy paste. If you want to show it in a new view, duplicate with detail.

If you untick that box when link or import DWG, the DWG comes in as Model lines and will show in other views by default.  Phasing matters now.

Wow! How did you come up with that from what the OP asked? Vulcan "Mind Meld"? You got to teach me that trick, @ToanDN.

Revit file has hundreds of views. Has also some CAD files linked. One CAD file, I need to show in a particular view, in 'Manage Links' is shown, in the particular view under 'Visibility Graphics' is not shown. So, the only way to show it is to go through all existing views to find where is shown, copy-clip it and paste it in my particular view?

Thanx!

If you initially linked it in with Visible in Current View only option then yes, it only shows in that view and you need to copy paste aligned to other views.

If you want to show it in a lot of views then a better option is getting rid of the CAD link and re-link it with that box UNCHECKED.
