Guys, I wanted to imbed an electrical service entry ESE family (the pipe with goose neck) to the OTB electrical panel.
The ESE is created from a two level base gen model family. I inserted it into floor plan of the panel. As i reload to project file, the pipe is laying flat down on the house floor.
I went back to the panel family trying to reinsert the ESE to different plane, RV won't let me.
Same thing with 1 level base family.
What can I do ?

Anyone ?
R17 families uploaded.
I ve been able to model in place the ESE with correct orientation, but that's not what I want. The point is how to imbed a child family with correct orientation. Thx
The points are :
- reserve the electrical panel setting, for scheduling, etc.
- be able to parametric the ESE ht, y/n, etc.
I don't see it in yr pix.

You didn't mention any of that, and unfortunately, my mind-reading capabilities have expired.
If you want answers, I need you to explain what you mean by: "reserve the electrical panel setting, for scheduling, etc." and "be able to parametric the ESE ht, y/n, etc.".
Use a work plane or face based, NOT a two level based, for the nested family.
There are no nested families in either one of the families you posted. Were you expecting someone to do that work for you? That is, were you expecting someone to nest one family into the other - and then clean up the Parent Family (e.g. remove unnecessary/redundant geometry?
My families are R17, so I don't expect anything from your work, probably in current version.

Well, you were expecting something. You posted two families for us to look at.
