IFC2x3 export error for door openings

I'm in Revit 2025 with the latest update for both Revit and IFC exporter.

If I export to IFC2x3 the IfcOpening object for some of the door types come out too small. The doors and windows end up being partially hidden inside the walls. This error occurs on only some instances of the same door type and all openings export correctly to IFC4, leading me to the conclusion that there's something wrong with the IFC2x3 format.

Attached is an image showing the same file being exported to both IFC4 and IFC2x3. The 2 door instances are the same door type and the 2 walls are the same wall type. As you can see, the wall opening for the lower door is too small in IFC2x3.

Has anyone else experienced the same problem? Any idea on how to solve this?

(Our default export is IFC4, but I need to do some IFC2x3 exports from time to time due to calculation software that can't read IFC4.)

Few things.

-Check the door family, maybe some slight remodelling can solve the issue (opening vs voids)

-Us the IFC add-in (download from your Autodesk account)

-In case you are already using the add-in, try de-installing it and see if that solves the issue.

-Check the  Git-Hub page for the adding https://github.com/Autodesk/revit-ifc, and see if there are similar issue mentioned.
