IFC exporter

Hi,

What about the IFC exporters for Revit. There are no updates for the IFC exporter for Revit 2027 on manage.autodesk.com, but on https://github.com/Autodesk/revit-ifc there are three updates for 2027. The updates for 2026 and earlier seems to be in sync. Will Autodesk release the updates on manage.autodesk.com, or will we have to rely on GitHub from now on?

Github is usually a bit faster, but they will eventually end up under your Autodesk account,

Well, OK. We have this third party addin with a batch export tool. It can export IFCs in a much more controlled way than in regular Revit. The tool use the built in settings for IFC exports. The vendor of the addin have told us only to use the updates from Autodesk and not the once from Github. I'm not really sure why. They should be the same, right?

I found the latest dot update for revit 2027 also provided an update to the ifc exporter which had a higher version number than the one found on github. Sadly this ifc exporter version no longer shows in the export window. So you need to export an empty file and look at that with a text editor.
