We have a problem with opening the doors after exporting the IFC 2x3 IFC file from Revit.
Indeed, the door operation is often wrong compared to the original Revit file, sometimes missing, and sometimes correct. This seems to depend on the door family used.
When the direction of opening is wrong, it can be a swing error between left and right, or an error in the direction of opening, inwards or outwards.
As noted in the subject, the problem has been replicated with the latest updates from Revit (2020.1) and the IFC 2020 application (20.1.0), but it was already apparent before.
Others have raised this problem previously (https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-architecture-forum/problem-with-ifc-exporter-for-revit-v18-4-0-...), and it seems that the English version of Revit does not meet the problem. However, we would like this problem to be fixed for all versions of Revit.
I also tried the IFC4 export (Design Transfer View), and the opening operation is missing.
You will find attached the test project used, as well as the generated IFC files, ifc2x3 and ifc4.
