IFC Export Issue in Revit 2022.1: Missing Materials for Fascias, Wall Sweeps, and Curtain Walls

I'm experiencing issues with exporting an IFC file from Revit 2022.1 to IFC2x3 Coordination View. Specifically, the materials for fascias, wall sweeps, and curtain walls are not exporting correctly to the IFC file.

For the export setup, I’ve enabled Revit property sets, IFC common property sets, and schedules as property sets (filtered by titles that contain "IFC," "Pset," or "Common"). Additionally, I’ve included a custom-defined property set. Despite these settings, the materials for these elements are still not exporting as expected. The individual members of the curtain wall do display their materials correctly, but the overall curtain wall category does not.

Is there any way to ensure that fascias, wall sweeps, and curtain walls export with their material names in the IFC file? Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Tested in Revit 2024.3, where it does export correctly. It's unfortunate that updating the project is required.

They never supported those object for material, level etc.

In recent versions/updates it was added.

Are you using the latest IFC exporter for Revit 2022, maybe they updated that version as wel.

Because of this we stopped using Facsia, WallSweeps etc in the past.

Here's the link for the various IFC exporter for each Revit version:
