Framing plans?  That's quite a jump forward in the planning process. Do you have architectural plans?

...actually, why do you need framing plans?

Not only do I have architectural plans, I have permits. I have the slab
and underground plumbing in place. I thought I had everything necessary
until I went to get trusses. Thanks

Do you have an engineer that design the roof?  Strange that you have a permit without a roof faming plan and calculations.  Is it a deferred approval?

no. Its a full approval. I bought plans online. I am sure they are
designed properly but I need the information to get trusses made. I have
the pictures, and the top/side views and I have the floorplans but I do not
have the information required to get the trusses --I have never ordered
trusses- but they want information like how far apart and so on. I have
never built a house before so I was a little naive on this- and the online
plan company acts like "whats the problem". The guy from the company a
supposed architect says "the truss company is supposed to take that
"helicopter view" (his words) of the roof, and design the trusses to make
that roof. When I talk to anyone else, they say "no that is not their
job". That is how this all started- I asked this guy before buying the
plans "so have people bought these plans, gotten permits and built the
house with what is included" and the answer was "Yes hundreds of them"---I
knew I needed hvac- but I thought everything else would be included. It
wasn't. Now I'm finding the roof plan is not there and I need one. Thanks

why do I need them?  To order trusses so I can build the house.  The truss company is the one telling me I need them.  I its hip and valley/combination roof and so its not an easy one to stick build but if thats what has to be done, thats what will be done.  I will probably just pay an engineer to do what needs to be done since no one seems to be interested here--or maybe I am asking in the wrong forum---not sure.  Thank you

My suggestion to you would be to take what you have down to the building/planning department of the jurisdiction you are intending to build this structure in and having them explain to you what you need.  Either that or hire a local contractor.

Thanks. I do the AC work for the people at the city. They have not asked
for anything. Its the truss company that has. A contractor can frame the
roof but I prefer to have premade trusses---its a complicated roof. Thanks
for your help. I really appreciate it.

Work with a truss supplier that'll do the engineering as well.

Out of curiosity, what's the building jurisdiction?
