I don't know how to create a column family

Hello!

I'm trying to create a columne family like the picture I added here. The problem is that the column I need must be 0.5x0.6cm (the image shows a column with 5x6cm) in area and with parameter properties.

Hope you can help me.

Thank you in advance.

With the level of information you have provided, I wouldn't be able to model a column too!

  1. 0.5x0.6cm?! isn't that too small for a column? probably you meant 0.5x0.6m?
  2. What is showing in the image is 500mmx600mm not 5x6cm

Yet again! when syman2000 is there who needs to model columns...I'm just curious how he figure out what the b & h should be

The second sentence of your two-sentence paragraph is very confusing.  If it is not there then creating the column is a walk in the park.

Thank you for replying!

Yes, I want a column of these dimensions .5cmx.6cm because I'm modelling a prefabricated wall 1cm of thickness. This is a lightweight steel column , that is why it is that thin.

I attach this image for you to see what I need to do.

I attach an image for you to see what I need to do (I need the piece involved in a circle).

The family I've gave you able to change the sizes. Sadly if you want to make it thin, this is where it will break. Here is the update so you can achieve thin profile.
