i am unable to create elevation views

I am trying to view an elevation views to add to my sheet however I am unable to select the elevation button.

I am new to revit and am very unsure.

you can't create an elevation view while in 3D view. 

...Interesting. Did you actually take a "Screen Shot" using your iPhone? Funny...but, effective all the same.

Please select your levels from the project browser, the elevation marker will be visible.
