How to upload topography into Revit from USGS tif/csv data? Having trouble

I'm in architecture school and only just learned how to use Revit last term by teaching myself. This term, we have to create our own site models.

I've uploaded my data in both txt and csv file formats, then tried to do "specify points file" with both, but I'm getting the error messages: "no points were found in the file" and "some rows from the file could not be used". The site is relatively flat, but I'm not sure how to fix the issue. Trying to teach myself how through YouTube and forums, but struggling.

Those are not Point Files. Point Files contain 3 Columns and many rows of Data. Point file can have other Columns of information, but the first 3 columns must be X, Y, Z coordinates.

I downloaded those from USGS and now see that they're links to download files. I clicked on one of them and it gave me a tif file, but I don't know if this is usable in Revit directly.

I think there's an OCR tool in Excel that will convert TIFF.

You might also try bringing in Topography from Google Earth into Revit.

Thank you, I ended up taking the data from cadmapper into AutoCad and then into Revit. Seemed to work somewhat well.
