How to ungroup elements in family ?

Hello there.

I am trying to use furniture that I've imported as DWG to Revit.

I want to choose one furniture but instead it chooses the whole block / family when clicking on it.
How do I ungroup them to choose single furniture with out the rest ?

You'll want to make a separate family for each element. Or better yet, just make actual Revit families for each element. Using CAD blocks in Revit is a quick solution for representing things, but you're missing out on a lot of Revit's features by doing so.

Have you tried exploding?  I would do this in family templates though.  There will be clean-up work.

I agree with @mhiserZFHXS too. Import DWG into a Family Template (maybe Detail Items) and use the Pick Lines tool to "trace"  over the DWG linework with Revit linework.  Exploding would be unnecessary.

...just to be clear, I'm suggesting multiple Revit families - one for each of those blocks you need.  But you can create each one from one Family by Grouping traced linework and then saving the Groups as a separate RFAs using "Save As".

Explode the block in CAD, not in Revit.  Select the furniture you want and WBLOCK it to another DWG.  Import the DWG into your Revit furniture family.
