How to Smoothly Connect Two Divided Surfaces

Hello!

I have been making a mass, and after much tweaking I divided two of the surfaces and added a custom profile shape on it. Here is what that looks like:

I am unable to connect both of those surfaces together smoothly, and it's driving me nuts.

Another issue I am having is this:

I don't even know how to describe this... hopefully this image helps some. I have also attached the file below.

Not sure what you mean. The edges are contiguous.

If you open the file and move the viewing angle around you can see there are spaces between the glass sheets.

Yeah, I see. I don't know what to tell you. Revit is throwing a fit with it.  10 Errors with 20 conflicts.  Hard to troubleshoot beforehand, since the element IDs that cause the error don't exist until after the Profile Base Glass Panel is applied to the Surface.  

BTW, do you realize that all the mullions are overlapping?

I'd rather try to obtain a form with as few faces as possible.

How could it be done? By creating a basic Profile made from one spline (it will generate only one face) instead of multiple connected arcs ( each arc will generate a different face).

But if we create a closed spline that would not work , we'll be not allowed to create the Form . So we'll use a trick. Create first a long spline letting a very small space between the start point and the end point of it. Preferable to do it somewhere in the backside because that connected area could not be controlled....
