Hello all,
I tried to divide my plan (visually) to zones by using Filled Region, but filled region always come to front. I need to send it back of foundations and model elements to be as background. How I can do this.
Knowing that I tried to send it to back, but this didn't work.
.

There is no way to send detail elements (filled regions) behind model elements. Detail elements are ALWAYS drawn "on top" of model elements in a view. The draw order controls you see are to control the detail elements in relation to each other, NOT in relation to the model elements in the view.
Maybe something you could do with rooms and color fill?

Hi @AAdawiBIM
- Try the copy, paste aligned function.
- Select filled region and then edit so you are in sketch mode.
- Select the linework and copy to clipboard.Quit sketch
- Select masking region - sketch the outline for your foundations and model elements
- Paste aligned current view (to paste the filled region).Finish sketch
- The filled region will be sitting underneath the masking region to show your model elements in front. Please mark this response as "Accept as Solution" if it answers your question. Kudos gladly accepted.
What masking region? @AAdawiBIM didn't ask anything about a masking region?
Hi @ToanDN
The masking sketch alternative is a simple workaround, where we are able to copy the sketch lines between the different element types, because as we know by default a filled region is always going to place itself "in front" of a modeled element.

Hi @ToanDN
That is a valid point on using colors schemes.![]()
More information on color schemes from our knowledge center HERE
Filled regions allow us to change the color of the pattern and we can choose between an ‘opaque’ and ‘transparent’ filled region within the type properties. However we have encountered a few cases where there have been errors due to a glitch in color schemes and failed color fill calculations and color fills not working on RCP plans.Again these are separate topics, and most functions have a workaround unless reported as a defect/bug. It is beneficial for an user to explore options and our aim is to help others looking out for 'how-to' topics for similar issues, saving time! So here we go:

Try this:
In property, tick off the box for masking(Last option in Graphics), then adjust the object order.
Since detail items always sit in front of model elements, either use a fill that is set to transparent so the model elements will show through, or use a colour fill scheme, or use model elements. You can use existing floors with view overrides for example.
I thought this was true then this happened. A filled region cannot show up in front of a glazed curtain wall. I was going to use it to show a patterned of glass. I can figure out a work-around, but it kind of surprising to see rule like this upset.
There must be something else going on. I had no problem placing a filled region in front of a curtain wall element. No way to send it behind it.
The other solution would be to edit the boundary line of your filled region, create the cut from where the element needs to be out and seen like as shown below. Because even if you override the transpancy its still unclear so i cut the portion where the filled region covered the element I want to show on top.
I am not sure if this was already said but I was looking for a similar solution for my plans. I used the area colour legend but some 2B are duplicated that I need grey and others are original that I need white. My solution was to use a field region that is not masking to cover the grey for the 2B I wanted white.
I have a similar issue, the filled region someone created is hiding the foundation.
I don't want to use transparency as this will also change the colour shown elsewhere.
