Kind Regards,

Only plant families can be scaled in project.  For all other families, you need to edit and scale their content.

Not seeing what you are trying to do, I suggest look into stretching the dimensions of the family using parameters instead of scaling. It maybe just what you need

Depends what you mean by "scale"?  Are you saying that the model elements in the Family are not drawn at 1:1 scale? 1:1 units?

There is a way, but you'll have to jump through a few hoops:

Hi TOANDN,

I really appreciate your reply,

Can I attach the file and you give me idea and teach me how to do it?

I have tried to scale it in different ways from videos but in the same stage of exactly when I am going to load it into the new family I have created, nothing will come in my drawing just the dimensions!!

Kind Regards,

Attach the family you created here so we will see what problems are.

Is there a way to scale a Detail component as well?  I nested a CAD file of a company logo into a new Generic Detail Item family.  While I'm inside the Detail Item family I can create and apply a Scale Factor parameter to the CAD file/logo which works while in the Detail Item family;  However, when I load the Detail Item into a project file the scale factor parameter I created doesn't work or change the size of the nested Cad file/logo.
