How to Represent Column Below?

I just find it necessary to represent the columns below any active view for my structural plans as I am working with a multi level building that has reducing column sizes as the floors goes up. For the floors above ground floor, I have my slab, walls, beams and columns visible and just for extra reference I want to include the column below the level to be represented maybe in thick broken lines or in a different section fill pattern. in the picture below, the one with the solid fill is a planted column or can also be a continuous column while the one with a diagonal pattern a column that terminates to the floor level. I hope you can answer my question. Thank you in advance!!

Couple ways:

- Create a view showing only the columns of the level below how you want them, then overlay two views on sheet.

- Lower the view range bottom to include the top of the columns below, then use Show Hidden Lines tool in View ribbon to show them through the floor slab as hidden lines
