How to Remove Cut-out in roof

Someone have given me a roof with a cut-out,

I'm guessing they have used an "opening" of some sort to create it.

Please find attached

How can I I remove it?

Thanks for that. I didn't realise it was that easy.

I have the same roof, but with another joining roof (this configuration was originally presented to me).

What's the easiest way to connect both roofs as seamlessly as possible?

So the joins can't be seen from underneath (the roof) - i.e. you can't see the joins in a sectional view?

in attached screencast I've shown some ways of doing these operations ...if Join Roof operation fails to smooth align the two roofs, then you can use a Void to Cut the extra roof after simple Joining.

Thank-you Constantin for taking the time to put together that video,

I learnt something from that.
