How to plot/export to PDF & setup plot style like in Autocad

Hi,

Is there a way to print/plot/export to PDF from Revit sheet and setup plot style like we plot in the Autocad ?

The only choice when I want to print to PDF is as color, black line or grayscale. I want some color to be in black and some color to be colored as the layer.

Thank you

VGOs not working for you?

Revit prints what is shown on the screen (a.k.a. WYSIWYG).  Only thing is Thin Lines. Revit doesn't print a Thin Line View as it looks.  Output uses actual Line Weights.

Set your object styles to show exactly what you want your print to be then that is what your print going to be.

I have tried change the VGO, but nothing change. For example, specialty equipment family with red line color, I change it to black (change in VGO), but the color is still red. or am I do it wrongly

but I have another sheet that need that object color to be grey color. In my case now, my object color is red. In some sheet, i want it to be black and for another sheet, I want it to be grey. If I change the object color, then the whole sheet will be the same right?

I suspect you have another Override in place that has hierarchy.

If the colors are not universal for the entire project then you need to modify them via view templates or view's visibility graphics overrides.

okay I will go through that hierarchy. 1 more question, how to change the text and hatch color from the family? what I understand is VGO can change the color of line.

Via Filters.

I don't really understand how Filters work. Does it can change Generic Annotation color? I used Generic Annocation in the Specialty Equipment family.
