How to Not have Sectional Annotation Line Cut Through the Entire Plan?

Hi all,

I would like to know if it is possible to create a special Section Annotation Line that DOES NOT cut all the way through a plan? I would want it to cut Partially on the plan for annotation purposes on plan only. As I find it quite distracting when it cuts all the way through the plan. I would like to have it cut like this for example:

The function is built-in. Select a section line and click on the break symbol in the middle.
