How to Multi Category Material take off Grouping by Room

Help! help.
I want to count the materials but want to be grouped in a room.
I tried using New Paramter with Room Tags, but it was empty.

you can create a filter for this, using the room name.

Where did you get "Room" from?  Is that a Project Parameter you added?  How is it applied? 

You want to post the file so I can see what you did?   

...you know, I think you may be misunderstanding what your schedule is reporting. It's not reporting Rooms. It's reporting Materials used in the Project.  Those materials of Floors, Walls, Roofs, etc.   In order to group the materials by room, you'd need to be able to identify what Floor, Wall, Roof, etc. is part of the Room.  I don't think that's what you want to do, but I could be wrong.

@achusetiawan : Sounds to me like you want a Room Finish Schedule, which you can create via a Key Schedule as shown in this video:

I want to calculate BOQ / volume of material in a room, so I use the Material Take OFF Schedule on Revit.
But I did not find Filed Room, in this schedule.

Can the schedule room calculate the BOQ / Marial Volume?

I want to make Bill of Quantity (BOQ) revitalized, and I want to calculate by room.

Filed above there was no room choice, and the same using the new parameters, but it didn't work

What materials in a Room? The volume of paint layer of the wall? The volume of "popcorn" layer of the ceiling? The volume of carpet layer of the floor?  What are you trying to quantify?  An MTO is not going to tell you what room the materials are in.  Think about it. Even if a 2X4 Stud Wall with 5/8" GWB on both sides knew what rooms it was partitioning, how would the wall's materials be divvied up between the two rooms.  Half and Half?  Or, would the larger of the two rooms get more than half?
