How to move Toposurface (or Levels) up or down ?

Anonymous
Not applicable

I need to move Levels up or Toposurface down on 10' (look in attachment picture) so that it still would be marked as 0' in Level 1 and 10' in Level 2 but 10' higher. I will link my House there so levels should match. I also need to be able to move House (or toposurface) up or down if needed. How ? Thank you !

So, what is the situation now? Sounds like you have your house in one project and your Topo & Site in another, and your intention in to link the House Project  into the Topo/Site Project.   If so, you don't move any levels in the respective projects. Just Link your House into the Topo and place it directly on top of the Topo where she goes. The Topo probably has a level site pad all ready graded for it.  Place the house on that Site Plan on the Topo, and twist is around to the correct orientation on the site (True North should be at 12 o'clock).  Once positioned correctly, Publish its position (coordinates) to the House Project.  Now it's position in the Topo is Recorded and Saved with the Project.

Check back in when you get this far.

Thank you again ! You are so helpful ! Yes you are correct House will be linked to site TOPO plan (you have advised me that earlier so I plan to do that). IMPORTANT QUESTION: Will I be able to do changes to the House Project and will those changes be automatically saved in Site PLAN that it linked too because I have many imported families in my House Project and none in Site project ?

My Toposurface does not have any building pad and nothing is graded. It is a mountain. My plan is to chose location vertically and rotate it to get as less excavation as possible and then trim it around to attach house base floor to the Toposurface.
