How to make non-rotation families with adaptive points

Hi, All.
Now I'm trying to modelling tunnels by Dynamo.

Zack Kron had a nice Youtube Video that was out there on Adaptive's and how to get them to behave the way you want them to.  I believe he had a similar example.

Near the 20 min mark.

I know he's also got a little family that (triangle jig?) that might help figure out where things are going wrong.

Hope it helps.

It helped to understand the direction of the reference point. Thank you.
However, the family I make is a little complicated, so I have to Load the CAD and draw the line by Pick Line.

In this case, it seems that direction specification does not play any role.

The family is constrained to the reference point, but it seems to be moving independently of the host.

So I'm wondering if this is a point issue and it's not selecting the points in order in which you want them placed.

Paul Aubin had an AU class that was using dynamo to place adaptive curtain panels on a sloped wall.

The Graph he was using was picking the points based on distance from a point..  Knowing that a point off in space can be set so the nearest point is always first and so on.  You might want want to take a look for that one.  Not sure if that'll help, but it might.  Just trying to think of other things that might help you you.

Hope it does.

Thank you very much,dtpeter2901

I'm looking for the graph you talked about, but it's not easy.

I could not find topics about

"place adaptive curtain panels on a sloped wall",

Can you show me more Information for me?

I wish this will help me, too.
