How to make a weird shaped roof?

Hello, just posting to see if anyone could help me out in creating this style of roof? Please note that the rear of the house has a gable end.

use Offset From Roof Base:

Give the raised part of the roof an offset in edit mode.

"Weird" Roof?  Nothing weird about it at all. It's a "Half-Hip" Roof.
