How to link electrical equipment to revit project ?

 Hello , 

  

 My name is Samar Zaki , i'm undergraduate student in Faculty of Engineering Cairo university , i hope you help me  with my GP .

    if I have an Emergency department contains medical devices like CT , MRI , defibrilator .... etc   i want  to conect  those equipment to my revit file so when i get report from Energy  consumption    i get correct calculation of Energy according to my electrical devices  ? so how can i do that

- if its a devices ( components or family) you need to manually place them in your plan

- but if its already in a plan ( say medical equipment plan in revit file) you just need to link them ( its located at Manage Menu, then Manage Project then Manage Links)
