Hello,

How do I know when my furniture is the correct way around when I am in plan view?

Without having to switch to the elevation or section..

Is there a way I can make a reference to the front, back and sides?

Thanks

Aidan

You can draw annotation lines in the family that can help you in plan views. They won't appear in 3d or sections/elevations

What @rxi.gg  was saying or:

-Add something in the family with a visibility (type) parameter which you can switch off when not needed anymore.

-Add something in the family under a special sub-category which you can hide.

-Or have multiple views open (plan and 3D view) so you can see in 3D how you are placing elements while working in plan view.

-Work in wireframe mode

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Make all your furniture a revolve sweep thus avoiding the problem all together! 😂
